  • Block the Block is a 75-minute play by Nathaniel McBride, based on interviews with housing campaigners in Hulme, Manchester.

A cast of five play 45 characters, telling the story of their five-year battle to save their neighbourhood from predatory developers.

The show was first shared at Contact Theatre, Manchester and then toured as a staged reading to the Arts Activism Festival at Rich Mix, The World Transformed Festival and community venues in Manchester and London.
